To mark the end of Fair Trade Fortnight we talk to Frankie who is hosting the Highgate Hill Fair Trade Coffee Break. The event is an Oxfam initiative that encourages ordinary Australians to organise in their communities to promote sustainable production and income security for producers. More than 500 separate events have been registered across Australia this year!
Frankie tells us how the Highgate Hill Fair Trade Coffee Break will include live music from Cosmicos, dance performances, cakes, artist stalls, and of course fair trade coffee supplied by 4ZzZfm subscriber business Blackstar Coffee! Cosmicos performs live in studio to give us a musical taste of what to expect on the day.

What a packed show! This week’s podcast took place while our inaugural 4ZzZfm Trash and Treasure Day was a-buzzin outside in the studio carpark. Giordy and Laura talk to Jemma and Deb from sweets-for-charity crew Love or Cupcakes who donated some delicious vegan cupcakes to our mega-bake sale.
