At the Local speaks to the latest crop of YAMPers, young artists who participated in the Young Artists Mentoring Program. Rose Bertwistle is an independent filmmaker and photographer who rarely leaves the house without her camera and was mentored by filmaker Tony Luu. Clint Bolster has worked professionally in Australia and Japan as an actor, physical theatre performer, stilt performer and clown and was mentored by Kransky Sister, Annie Lee. Melody Woodnutt is a self-taught visual artist and a newcomer to Brisbane and its emerging art scene, she was mentored by Angela Gardner. For more information on YAMP head to Youth Arts Qld.

We rent and we vote! Olivia and Alana speak to Wendy Herman from the Tenants Union of Qld and to Janice McDonald from the Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service at the NFNC. Wendy and Janice talk about the lack of affordable housing in Brisbane and how tenants can find out more about their rights.
